The Church of the Good Shepherd is situated in Cox Green Community Centre, a multi-purpose building in which the Diocese of Oxford is a stakeholder. We are a living example of the church that is the people rather than the building we worship in and are free to re-order the building we use to suit our various styles of worship
You can be sure of a warm and friendly welcome when you visit the Good Shepherd and our worship reflects the joy of worshipping God. All ages are welcome. 'Shine', our lively Sunday School, runs in parallel with the 10am service; the children return to share the Eucharist with the rest of the congregation. On the first Sunday of most months there is an All Age Communion Service. During the week we offer various daytime services for children and adults - Little Fishes, our Pram service, on Wednesdays at 10am, a said service of Holy Communion on Thursday mornings at 10am and a monthly Community Praise on a Tuesday at 12.30pm.
We work with our neighbouring parishes of All Saints and St. Luke's in Maidenhead to offer a weekly Sunday evening service at 6pm. Details can be found on our website.
All of our events and services are held at Cox Green Community Centre which is also the Parish Church for Cox Green.
Please see this site or our website for more details.
We are a church that is committed to mission and we seek to grow our church both numerically and spiritually. Our missions statement is ROOTED IN PRAYER - GROWING IN FAITH - COMMITTED TO MISSION.
